Your belt is measured from the top of the belt (not including the buckle) to the belt hole you use most frequently (please refer to size guide image), then rounded to the nearest even-numbered inch. If you do not have this measurement, it is generally recommended that you go up two pant sizes, for example: 30" pants would need a 32" belt.
